Water’s Edge was built in the early 1930’s and is an extremely comfortable and well-equipped house with 2 new bathrooms, kitchen complete with range-cooker, downstairs cloakroom, and patio doors that open from the sitting-room onto the terrace and gently sloping garden. In the chillier months use the wood-burner to keep you warm, although obviously the house has central-heating!
In order to ensure your holiday is just that – a holiday – whether you plan on visiting all the great local restaurants or eating in, our aim is to make sure that you have everything you need. There’s nothing worse than having to buy absolutely everything when you arrive, so condiments, cleaning stuff, cling film, washing up liquid etc is available for you along with spare light bulbs and even batteries to make your holiday as stress-free as possible.
Children are extremely welcome and we want to make sure they have lots of fun and you have a relaxing holiday – there are always buckets and spades outside ready to go to the beach, and we’ve supplied toys for the kids and puzzles, games and DVD’s for the kids and adults alike.
